Ordering from our range of frozen ready meals is simple, whether you prefer to speak to us over the phone, order online at www.homechef.com.au or hand an order form to your delivery driver in person. Please note orders must be at least 2 OFFICE DAYS BEFORE your designated delivery day.
Yes, Minimum order is 5 meals or $45.00.
Yes, You can select any meals you prefer and enjoy eating from our Menu. At the customer’s request, our Customer Care Team can follow up with a phone call to ask you what meals you would like for your next order.
We accept payments by Credit Card, COD for approved customers, Direct Deposit (2 days prior to delivery): BSB 066 168 Acc: 10203323 (Please use the customer’s full name as reference).
You can re-order by phone at (08) 9378 2544 or online at www.homechef.com.au. If preferred our Home Chef “order pads” are available. Your order can be recorded on the order pad and given to your driver who will return your order to the office. Our drivers are happy to help you fill out your order if required. If you require “permanent weekly” or “permanent rotating” orders this can be easily arranged with our office.
Yes, if requested, our Customer Care Team will contact you to remind you when it’s time to place your next order and take your order if required.
Home Chef needs to be contacted by 4:00pm PRIOR to day of delivery by phone at (08) 9378 2544 or email info@homechef.com.au to cancel an order. A late Cancellation Fee of $6.00 applies to orders that are not cancelled prior to the order being picked for delivery.
Yes, you can change your order by contacting Home Chef by 4:00pm PRIOR to day of delivery by phone at (08) 9378 2544 or email info@homechef.com.au. Changes cannot be made on the same day your order is being delivered.
You can collect your orders the same day, or even order it while you’re visiting our office and we will get it picked right away for you by our dispatch team.
All meals are hand-picked by our hard working and dedicated dispatch team.
If you have any questions or issues, feel free to call our Customer Care Team on 9378 2544 and they will answer any questions or solve any issues.
When you make an online order with Home Chef, our system will automatically send you a confirmation email. If you are a new customer, we will contact you via phone or email within 48 hours of receiving your order to confirm your order & clarify the details.

Payments

We accept Visa & MasterCard or (Debit Card-in office only).

    please use the customer’s full name as the payment reference.
  3. Cheque made payable to Home Chef 2 days prior to delivery
  4. Eftpos or Cash in our office

This can easily be arranged by phoning the office. (Conditions apply & subject to approval)
$6 Account establishment fee (once off initial fee for new customers).
$6 Late cancellation fee applies to orders cancelled less than 12 hours. Prior to delivery day.
Emergency deliveries are charged $20 for first 12kms then $1.10p/km.
Esky charges apply if any esky has not been left out when no one is home to receive the order and this is a recurring occurrence.
No, You are not required to sign any contracts. If you like the dinners (and we know you will!) you will re-order when you need more.

Yes, please remember to check the meal regularly to avoid under or over cooking.
Yes, Make sure the dish does not touch the sides of the microwave.
Instructions: Preheat oven at 180°C. For best results defrost meal prior to heating. Heat with lid on for approximately 25 – 30 minutes (or until heated throughout). Do not lift or puncture the lid until heated. The dinner is best eaten direct from the tray. Always allow additional time if reheating from frozen.
Instructions: Heat from defrosted or frozen on high with lid on for approximately 3 – 6 minutes (or until heated throughout). Microwaves over 800W will need less heating. Soups & Desserts require less heating time. Do not lift or puncture the lid until heated. The dinner is best eaten direct from the tray. Do not allow meal to touch the sides of the Microwave.
Always allow additional time if reheating from frozen.

Yes. The contents are completely recyclable. You should check with your local shire to check you are recycling the materials properly. We continually look for ways to improve our packaging, so please note that these materials are subject to change.
