Yes. Home Chef meals are available to everyone.
Whether you are a senior, managing a chronic condition, living with a disability or vision impairment, recovering at home, working FIFO or in the trades, an office worker, busy parent, carer, student, or representing a community or religious organisation, anyone can enjoy the convenience of Home Chef meals. You can either order as a Private Customer or under a subsidised Government Support Package / NDIS.

General
Ordering from our range of frozen ready made meals is simple – whether you prefer to speak to our friendly Customer Care Team over the phone on (08) 9510 9866, order online at The Home Chef Website or by emailling your order to orders@homechef.com.au.
Please note orders must be placed no later than 11am, 2 BUSINESS DAYS BEFORE your designated delivery day. To check the day we deliver to your area, please go to our delivery page.
Yes, the minimum order spend is $66.00 which is equivalent to 5 regular meals.
Orders must be paid for at time of ordering via a Credit Card or Debit Card – there must be a Visa or MasterCard symbol on the card. We do not accept American Express or EFTPOS cards.

If you require “permanent weekly” or “permanent rotating” orders this can be easily arranged by calling our office on the above number.
No, there is no requirement for you to order on a regular basis. You can order meals if and when you need them.
Yes, if requested, our Customer Care Team will do their best to contact you to remind you when it’s time to place your order and take your order if required. Please keep in mind, however, that sometimes this is not possible due to a high volume of calls received.
Home Chef must be phoned before 11:00am TWO BUSINESS DAYS PRIOR to day of delivery to cancel an order. A late Cancellation Fee of $16.00 may apply to orders that are not cancelled prior to this time.
Yes, you can change your order by contacting Home Chef before 11:00am TWO DAYS PRIOR to day of delivery by phone at (08) 9378 2544. Changes cannot be made on the same day or day before your order is being delivered.
Pick up orders can be placed over the phone and collected between 8.30am and 2.00pm Monday to Friday from our office in Bassendean. We do require 2 hours notice if ordering and collecting meals on the same day.
All meals are hand-packed by our hard working and dedicated Dispatch Team.

Meals
Yes, you can select any meals from our menu. To view our menu, please go to our Online Menu Page.
If you would like to order online using meal codes, please visit our Quick Order – Home Chef page. There you will find all of the menu items with their corresponding meal codes listed next to each meal name.
If your menu codes are different, you have an older menu and would like an updated one, please contact our office on (08)9378 2544.
We offer Petite, Regular and Large size meals to cater to how hungry you feel.
Our snap frozen meals can last up to 8 months in the freezer.
On our Online Menu Page you can click on the meal you want to see the information for – it then shows you the detailed description, ingredients and nutritional information for that meal.
Yes, Home Chef uses materials and packaging that are completely recyclable. You should check with your local shire to ensure you are recycling the materials properly. We continually look for ways to improve our packaging, so please note that these materials are subject to change.
Yes, Home Chef packaging is specifically designed to be used both microwave and conventional ovens up to 220°C. Ensure the tray does not touch the walls of the microwave and is placed in the centre of the microwave plate. For oven reheating, place the CPet tray on an oven proof tray for support.
Yes, making sure the dish does not touch the sides of the microwave.
Instructions: Preheat oven at 180°C. For best results defrost meal prior to heating. Heat with the plastic film on (pierced with a fork) for approximately 25 – 30 minutes (or until heated throughout). The dinner is best eaten direct from the tray. Always allow additional time if reheating from frozen.
Instructions: Pierce the plastic film with a fork a couple of times. In a 800W microwave, heat the frozen meal on high for the time indicated on the meal label or until heated throughout (heating times may vary depending on the wattage of your microwave). Allow meal to stand for 1-2 minutes before eating. Soups and desserts require less heating time. The meal is best eaten direct from the tray. Do not allow meal to touch the sides of the microwave when heating.

Payments
Orders must be paid for at the time of ordering and before the delivery date to ensure your meals will been delivered. If your payment has not been received by the delivery date, your order may be cancelled or not delivered.

$6 Account establishment fee (once off initial fee for new customers).
$16 Late cancellation fee may apply to orders cancelled less than 24 hours prior to delivery day.
Esky charges apply if an esky has not been left out when no one is home to receive the order.
No, you are not required to sign any contracts or subscriptions. If you like the dinners (and we know you will!) you will re-order when you need more.
Government Support Packages
If you have received a referral code from MyGov and not sure what to do next, please go to the My Aged Care website or by phoning them direct for assistance on 1800 200 422. The code is then given to an Aged Care Provider who has the ability to access your funding and allocate it to the services on your behalf.

Your appointed Provider will know the process with Home Chef of sending through the referral form to our Packages Team. Once our Packages Team have received the referral form, they have 1-2 working days to have this processed and be in contact with you to walk you through the package details and how you can start ordering meals from Home Chef.
