Support at Home (SAH)
The programme supports older people with more complex needs to stay at home.
If you are a SAH customer, we offer split billing with you and your provider. Depending on your level of cover you will only be required to pay up to 25% of your Home Chef order, with your provider paying the remainder.
Commonwealth Home Support Programme (CHSP) / Meals on Wheels (MOW)
The CHSP provides entry-level support for older people who need some help to stay at home. Service providers work with them to maintain their independence and keep them as well as possible.
If you are a CHSP/MOW customer, we offer our meals to you are a discounted rate to ensure you can stay happy and healthy.
We work with a small community of providers and city councils who are eligible for the CHSP/MOW funding, please check with your provider if they can offer this service.

The minimum order spend for a Support at Home customer is $16.50, for a CHSP/MOW customer it is $45.65.
This is equivalent to $66.00 full price or 5 regular meals.
Whilst there is no maximum order, your provider may have a budget limit you can order each week or fortnight to ensure your funding will last. If your budget does not meet your meal requirements, please contact your provider to have your budget increased if applicable.
My Aged Care Referral Code
We DO NOT accept the My Aged Care Referral Code as a form of reference for your Government Support Package. This code must be given to an Aged Care Provider who has the ability to access your funding and allocate it to services on your behalf. To utilise your funding for Home Chef meals, your provider needs to send us a referral form on your behalf with all of your details before you can start ordering.
If you have an Aged Care Provider and would like to receive meals from Home Chef, please speak to your co-ordinator about sending a referral through to us and our friendly package team will be in contact with you to walk you through the package details once we’ve received your referral.
